Christine (McCormick) Ashley, 75, of Fairfield passed away at 5:20PM on Saturday April 13, 2024, at Fairfield Memorial Hospital. She had worked at Airtex for over 30 years. Christine was born in Boyleston on November 14, 1948, to Chester and Mary (White) McCormick.
Christine is survived by sons- Tony Bowers of Kansas City MO, and Jerry (Jennifer) Bowers of Barnhill; daughter- Lisa (Darryl) Ackley of Socorro NM; grandchildren- Derek Bowers of Denver CO, Kyle (Morgan) Bowers of Barnhill and Leah Bowers of Fairfield, Rafe Ackey and Kenna Ackey both of Socorro NM; great grandchildren- Mitchell, Colter, and Karsyn Bowers; sisters- Rhonda McDuffee of Newburgh IN and Carla (Steve) Musgrave of Fairfield; nephews and niece- Noah Musgrave, Stacey Byrd, and Austin McDuffee also survive.
Christine was preceded in death by her parents and sister- Tammy McCormick
Per Christine’s wishes, her body will be cremated, and Celebration of Life Service will be held at Victory Outreach Church on Friday April 19, 2024, at 11AM. There will be no formal burial at this time.
Johnson and Vaughn Funeral home is assisting the family with cremation.
