Ruth Ann Benbrook, age 80, passed away 7:57 a.m., Tuesday, April 16, 2024 at Pinckneyville Nursing and Rehab Center in Pinckneyville, IL. She was born February 20, 1944 in Thackeray, IL to Almon Brock and Ruby (Henderson). Ruth married Waylan Ray Benbrook on June 6, 1965. She was a homemaker.
Ruth loved to sew, crochet, cook, bartend, take care of others and take care of her chihuahuas.
Ruth is survived by Sons Jamie Ray Benbrook and wife Crystal, Pinckneyville; Jody Benbrook of Marion; and Michael Benbrook and wife Kellie of Hoodville; ten Grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; Sisters Vickie Patrick and husband John of Boyleston; Debbie Rankin and husband Dennis of Grayville and Teresa Logan of Effingham.
Preceding Ruth in Death were her Parents, Husband and Brother, Gary Dean Brock.
Memorials may be made to Hamilton County Cancer Society in Memory of Ruth Benbrook and will be accepted at Harre Funeral Home, McLeansboro, IL, which is in charge of arrangements.
Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon Monday, April 22, 2024 at Harre Funeral Home, McLeansboro and Funeral Services will follow at 12:00 Noon at Harre Funeral Home with Pastor Rodney Brock officiating and Burial will follow at Digby Cemetery in Dale, IL
