ECHS FFA Takes Part in “Envirothon”

(Edwards County) — Edwards County High School FFA members, along with other students recently competed in “Envirothon” at Richland County High School. According to Edwards County High School Ag Instructor and FFA Advisor, Michelle Wiseman, “Envirothon”i s a competition that tests students’ knowledge of the natural environment. The areas of study included Forestry, Wildlife, Aquatics, Soils, and Renewable Energy. Edwards County had two teams that competed. Team A placed 2nd and Team B placed 3rd.

Team A members included: Drew Wolfe, Jake Wiseman, Carlin St. Ledger, Parker Biggs, and Shailei Leveque.

Team B members included: Matthew Boewe, Jaden Schwarzlose, Abby Gill, Brayden Sanford, and Karmyn Duncan. The teams are coached by Lacey Arnold and Michelle Wiseman.
