(Undated) – Last night’s thunderstorms brought wind, rain, lightning, and much cooler temperatures. Wayne County Sheriff, Chris Otey, also reported a large portion of a metal building that was blocking US 45 near County Road 620N. The storm damage had the road closed as crews removed the debris. Last night’s storms have also brought cooler temperatures. According to this morning’s forecast from the National Weather Service, the daytime highs through the weekend and into early next week will be in the upper 50s to low 60s.
