Darlene (Rector) Parsons, 58, of Broughton, IL passed away on Saturday, April 20, 2024 at Deaconess Midtown Hospital in Evansville, IN.
Darlene was born on June 9, 1965 in Eldorado, IL to Avery Rector & Mildred (Richardson) Rector. On April 10, 1982 she married Kenny Parsons, who survives.
Darlene worked as a home health caregiver for Addus Homecare. She enjoyed taking care of her home and her family. She loved spending time with her grandchildren. She will be deeply missed by those who loved her.
Darlene is survived by her husband Kenny Parsons of Broughton, IL; 7 children: Brandon Parsons of McLeansboro, IL; Felicia Rush of Broughton, Matthew Parsons of Broughton, Trenton Parsons of Broughton, Arianna Parsons of Broughton, Alicia Parsons of Broughton, and Tristan Parsons of Broughton, 3 grandchildren, 2 brothers: Kenny Rector of Broughton and Bobby Rector of Broughton, and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents Avery & Mildred Rector, and a brother David Rector.
Graveside funeral services for Darlene (Rector) Parsons will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 24, 2024 at Gholson Cemetery in Broughton, IL with Pastor Kevin Sauls officiating. Those attending are asked to meet directly at the cemetery. Gholson Funeral Home of McLeansboro has been entrusted with arrangements.
