(Undated) – A pair of residents were sentenced to time in the IDOC during Wayne County court appearances last week. Tuesday, thirty-eight-year-old Zachary Powell was sentenced to nine years in the IDOC following his arrest on a probation violation. On Thursday, twenty-eight-year-old Sarah Mecum of Albion was sentenced to 8 years in the IDOC. She pled guilty to two counts of theft.
