(Fairfield) — The Fairfield, Mount Vernon, Centralia, Salem, and McLeansboro Elks lodges in cooperation with the Illinois Elks Children’s Care Corporation will be sponsoring an upcoming Illinois Elks Children’s Care Clinic. This free orthopedic clinic will be held at the Neuromuscular Orthopedic Institute office of Dr. Alan Froehling, located at 302 Broadway Street, in Mount Vernon. The clinic is scheduled for Thursday, June 6th. No medical referral is necessary for the clinic but physicians are welcome to refer patients to the clinic for a specific reason or second opinion. School nurses are welcome to refer children and families to the clinic. The clinic is an ideal time to have a child reviewed for bone and joint development.
