Louis “Clint” Woods, aged 65, peacefully passed away on Wednesday, April 24, 2024, at Select Specialty Hospital in Danville, KY, following an extended illness.
Born and raised in Ellery, Clint graduated from Edwards County High School, Class of 1977. He furthered his education at the Colorado School of Trade, specializing in gunsmithing, and later established his own shop in Ellery where he served the community for many years. Even after retiring, Clint remained an active figure, dedicating over two decades to teaching firearm safety, generously sharing his expertise.
Memorial and Funeral Services
A celebration of Clint’s life will take place at 2:00 pm on Saturday, May 25, 2024, at Lick Prairie Christian Church in Bellmont, where Clint was a cherished member. All who knew him are warmly invited to attend.
Clint is survived by his mother, Bobbi, and his five siblings: Peg, Lee, Rita, Judy, and Carrie, as well as three nephews and two nieces.
He was preceded in death by his father, Paul Woods of Ellery.
A graveside service will follow at 4:00 pm on Sunday, May 26, at Bethel United Methodist Church in Ellery.
