Fairfield Memorial Hospital would like to remind the public to stay cool and hydrated. Remember to drink plenty of water, wear sunscreen, and avoid prolonged exposure to hotter temperatures. Signs of heat exhaustion include excess sweating, cold & clammy skin, dizziness, nausea or vomiting. If you experience any of these symptoms, seek medical attention immediately. The Urgent Care Clinic is open 7 days a week, and the Emergency Department is open 24/7.

Fairfield Memorial Hospital will once again serve as a designated Cooling Center this summer. The FMH Cafe will be open from 6:30 am to 8:30 pm daily for anyone that needs relief from the heat as temperatures and heat indexes continue to rise. They also provide free tea and water all day long in the FMH Cafe so please make sure you drink a lot of fluids to avoid dehydration.
