Jacob “Jake” Everette Ray, age 46, of Flora, Illinois, passed away June 17, 2024, at his home.
He was born June 22, 1977, in Flora, the son of Donald Ray and Carolyn Sue (Allen) Ray.
Jake worked at Silgan Plastics in Flora in Maintenance. He enjoyed time spent fishing, riding ATV’s, camping, and playing video games, and was skilled at working on small engines.
He is survived by his children: Raven Ray (Cody Mueller) of Clay City and Brody Ray of Clay City; stepchildren: Kaleb Carlyle and Josh McCracken; a grandchild: Eden Bushnell of DeRidder, Louisiana; brother: Gene Ray of Flora; a niece: Brittany Boose; and 3 nephews: Dakota, Brandon, and Dillon Ray.
He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.
