TEDESCHI TO COLORADO STATE:

6’8” incoming Senior, Docker Tedeschi of Benton has made his college decision and will continue his basketball career at Colorado State University in Fort Collins. The Rams are members of the Mountain West Conference and were 25-11 this past season.
Tedeschi has had multiple Division 1 offers, and would likely receive more if he waited until the start of his Senior season, but in many ways, it will avoid distractions for him this upcoming year by making a commitment now and allow him to focus on his game while helping the Rangers succeed again.
Docker was a First Team All-State selection this past season as a Junior, as he helped lead Benton to the 2A State Championship game, where they fell short to Chicago Phillips. The Rangers were 33-4 this past season.

GIRLS WRESTLING SCHOLARSHIP:

Faith Barrett of Mt Vernon has officially signed with William Penn University to pursue her education and wrestle at the collegiate level. She made history as the first female wrestler from Mount Vernon High School to qualify for State and also earn a scholarship.
