Denna E. Anderson, 78, of Fairfield, passed away at 8:05am on Friday, June 28, 2024, at her home.
Denna was born on March 19, 1946, in Fairfield, IL, to Billy Bob and Rosalee (Morris) Carter.
Denna worked over 25 years at Walmart in Fairfield. She had been the manger over a few departments like sporting goods and lawn and garden. Before she retired, she was on the overnight Mod team.
Survivors include her sons Shawn (Angel) Anderson and Kaycee Anderson both of Fairfield, two grandchildren Sarah (Zac) Normansell and Anne Marie Anderson, two great grandsons, and her brother Dale (Sandy) Carter of Fairfield.
She was preceded in death by her parents and an infant sister Cheryl Diane Carter.
Funeral services for Denna Anderson will be at 11am on Wednesday, July 3rd at the Johnson and Vaughn Funeral Home in Fairfield, with burial to follow in Maple Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be on Tuesday, July 2nd, from 5pm-7pm. Memorial donations can be made to the Dr. Scranton Memorial Cancer Fund and will be accepted at the Johnson and Vaughn Funeral Home which is in charge of arrangements.
