Funeral services for Staff Sergeant Kenneth Leroy Cunningham, age 21 of Ellery, IL will be held at 2PM, Thursday, January 21, 2016 at Little Prairie Christian Church, Route 15, west of Albion, IL.
Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 PM on Wednesday, January 20, 2016 at the church.
Kenneth was born on January 21, 1948 to Arthur Neal and Margaret Ruth (Mann) Cunningham.
He graduated from Edwards County High School in 1966 and was drafted in the United States Military on January 21, 1969. He died on October 3, 1969 in Kontum Province, South Vietnam.
Kenneth preceded his parents and two nephews; Bradley Kent Cunningham and Keith Allen Barnett in death.
Survivors include his siblings and their families: A. Junior (and wife Linda) Cunningham of Jasonville, IN, David (and wife Leah) Cunningham of Ellery, IL and Ruth (and husband Jim) Barnett of Albion, IL, 8 nieces and nephews, 11 great nieces and nephews and two great-great nieces and one great-great nephew.
Kenneth will be laid to rest next to his parents at Little Prairie Christian Church Cemetery, with full military honors.
Memorials may be to the Kenneth L. Cunningham Memorial Fund.
