79 year old Fairfield, Illinois resident Nancy B. Musgrave passed away Thursday, June 8, 2023 at Aperian Care in Fairfield, Illinois.
Nancy was born on June 8, 1944, in Wayne County, Illinois to Perry Rosco “Ross” and Martha
(Simpson) Suddarth. She married Jerry Musgrave on June 28, 1969. She was a 1962 graduate of Fairfield High School. Nancy became a beautician and later co-owned and operated the Crown III Beauty Salon.
Nancy enjoyed reading, solving puzzles, watching mysteries, and exploring new recipes. Her passion was her family. She loved attending family get-togethers and the annual Suddarth chowder.
She was a longtime member Ellen Moore Methodist Church and in her later years actively participated in the church sewing circle. Nancy went out of her way to help people in need and often made time for relatives and friends. Nancy’s afterlife should be rich rewards for a life well lived.
Nancy is survived by Jerry Musgrave, her loving and devoted husband of 54 years who never
left her side particularly when Nancy’s health declined, son Jarod Musgrave of Le Roy, Illinois on whom she doted on, daughter-in-law Christy (McMahan) Musgrave whom Nancy could always make laugh, granddaughter Gemma Musgrave on whom Grandma’ancy made an indelible impression, especially with homemade cookies. Also surviving are her sister Doris Sager of Fairfield, Illinois, twin sister Minnie (Hans) Wellen of Dahlgren, and brother Tom
(Janet) Suddarth of Fairfield, Illinois.
Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, siblings Maxine Locke, Myrtle Locke, George Suddarth, Beatrice Jake Riley, Glenn Suddarth, Bennie Suddarth, Jane Bowles, Hattie Hooper,
Charles Suddarth, and siblings in childhood.
Graveside services for Nancy B. Musgrave will be held 10:00 a.m. Friday, June 16, 2023 at Maple Hill Cemetery. Friends and family are asked to go directly to the cemetery.
