Fairfield Ends First Month of Fiscal Year In Black

The City of Fairfield for the first month of the new budget is in the black. For the month of May, the city brought in $1,486,866 and spent $1,407,491, leaving the city in the black by $115,379. For May, gaming income was $12,721 and sales tax brought in $122,718. The city’s current general fund balance is $2,396,051.52.
