Flora City Council is set to meet at 4:30 this afternoon at Flora City Hall.
Under routine business, the council will look at a resolution with the Illinois Department of Transportation for improvements under the Illinois Highway Code. The board is also set to get an update on Grants from Milano and Grunloh Engineers. The City will look to enter into a purchase agreement with Meagor Signs and Graphics for a new LED Sign for $39,935. The city will take up a ordinance involving the purchase of a commercial lot. Finally, the council will look at a resolution of financial commitment for the Illinois Safe Routes to School Grant Program for the 2023 Cycle.
Prior to the City Council Meeting, there will be a public hearing at 4 PM. The public hearing is in reference the the proposed phased sidewalk improvement projects. Officials from Milano and Grunloh Engineers will be on hand for the public hearing.
