A pair of DUI Cases came to a plea agreement in Wayne County Court.
53-year-old Scott A. Beard of Flora and 34-year-old Siakhel Gideon of Greenwood, Indiana both pled in the courtroom on August 3rd in front of Judge Michael Molt. Both individuals will be serving 18 months of probation. Both have over $3300 in court costs. The DUI cases are unrelated.
A Wayne City Man pled guilty to theft in Wayne County Court on Thursday of last week. 25-year-old Matthew Frazier agreed to a year of probation and $2499 in court costs. The charge was dropped per the agreement from a felony to a misdemeanor.
A Salem Woman pled guilty to theft in a felony case in Wayne County on Tuesday. 30-year-old Courtney Martin of Salem as part of a plea agreement had the theft charge dropped down to a misdemeanor. Martin will serve 18 months of probation and $1736 in court costs.
A Flora man learned his fate on Tuesday in Wayne County Court on a case dating back to 2022. 29-year-old Derik S. Londen of Flora is currently serving time in the Illinois Department of Corrections. In court, Londen pled guilty to violating his probation from a case involving unlawful possession of meth. Londen will serve 3 years for the violation in the Illinois Department of Corrections.
