Hamilton County Sheriff’s Officials as well as Hamilton County Fire, McLeansboro Fire, McLeansboro Police were called around 6 Tuesday Evening to a car/semi accident on Illinois 142 at the Hamilton/Saline County Line.
Few details have emerged at this time, but Eldorado and Norris City Fire Crews were called out to assist with the car involved in the accident by putting out a vehicle fire.
The Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office announced just after 6 this morning the highway was reopened to traffic. We will pass more info on as it becomes available.
