Myrna was born January 8, 1929 in Knights Prairie Township to Fritz and Irene
(Sheley) Gunter She married Oscar Kenneth McGill on Oct. 26, 1946 in Henderson, KY
and he passed away April 4, 2017. She was a member of the First General Baptist Church, McLeansboro, IL. She worked for several years as a ward clerk at Hamilton Memorial
Hospital in McLeansboro. Myrna was a member of the hospital Auxilliary.
Survivors include 3 Sons: Kenneth Eugene McGill and wife Kenann of Bonham, TX; Jim McGill
and wife Debbie of Forgan, OK; Jerry McGill and wife Staci of Dahlgren, IL.
2 Daughters Linda Coy and husband Jim of Dahlgren, IL; Beverly Stewart and husband Joe
of Broughton, IL;
15 Grandchildren; 35 Great Grandchildren & one on the way; 17 Great Great Grandchildren
& one on the way; One Brother, Bill Gunter of Kankakee, IL
Preceded in Death by: Parents, Husband and 1 Great Grandchild, Austin Jones;
3 Brothers-George, Marion and Fritz Jr; Sister Shirley Crabtree
