Section of I-64 named “Deputy Sean Riley Memorial Highway”

Tuesday morning, members of the Wayne County Sheriff’s Department along with Leslie Riley and her family attended an event at Willow Creek Venue for the unveiling of the name,  “Deputy Sean Riley Memorial Highway”.  This stretch on I-64 is from mile marker 112 to 116.  State Representative, Adam Niemerg  from Teutopolis pushed for this resolution and the naming in honor of Deputy Sean Riley who was shot and killed in the line of duty in Wayne County in December 2021.
