The North Wayne Unit School District Board of Education met for their regular meeting Wednesday night and approved the following items on the consent agenda. Approved the minutes of the June 19th regular meeting and also the minutes of the June 19th budget amendment hearing.
The board approved the payment of the bills and gave approval to Superintendent Adam Ellis to amend the FY25 calendar as needed. The board approved Press Pluss Updates 114 & 115 as presented by the policy committee.
The board hired Tony Cesario as Cisne High School Custodian and Tiffany Potts as a diabetic aide at Johnsonville Elementary School.
The Teacher’s Institute meeting for the entire North Wayne Unit School District will be held Monday, August 12th.
The board will hold the August 21st, September 18th, and October 16th board meetings at Cisne Middle School at 7 pm. The board will also be participating in building tours at some point this fall.
