WAYNE COUNTY SHERIFF’S DEPARTMENT HANDLE PROPERTY DAMAGE ACCIDENT THURSDAY

Wayne County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a two-vehicle property damage crash Thursday evening just befor 6 o’clock northwest of Fairfield in Lamard Township.  Deputies say a 2008 Toyota Tacoma driven by 64-year-old Rickey Cox of Fairfield was traveling south on county rd 1725E when Cox failed to stop at the stop sign.  His vehicle struck the rear of an eastbound 2013 Lincoln driven by 62-year-old Louisa Blessing of Fairfield.  No injuries were reported in the crash.  Cox was cited for Disobeying A Traffic Control Device.
