The Edwards County 4-H Sheep Show was held Monday at the Edwards County Fairgrounds.
In the Hampshire Division Gabe Wyatt showed the Champion Ram and Ewe, and the Reserve Champion Ewe.
In the Corriedale Division the Champion and Reserve Champion Ram was shown by Jesse Spray.
The Champion and Reserve Champion Ewes were shown by Emmitt Spray, in the Corriedale Division.
In the Cheviot Division JW Simms-Reisner showed the Champion and Reserve Grand Champion in the Ewe classes.
JW Simms-Reisner showed the Champion and Reserve Champion Montadale Rams and the Champion and Reserve Champion Montadale Ewes.
In the Suffolk class Brooklyn Kitchene showed the Champion Ram and the Champion Ewe.
Kenleigh Garrett had the Champion Ram, and the Champion Ewe, in the Other Breeds class.
Hanna Waggoner showed the Reserve Champion Ewe in the Other Breeds class.
Aly Williams had both the Champion and Reserve Champion Crossbred Ewes. Gabe Wyatt was awarded Champion and Reserve Champion in the Non-Registered Ewe class.
The Grand Champion Ram was awarded to Gabe Wyatt, and he received a banner donated by Edwards County Farm Bureau Board of Directors. The Reserve Grand Champion Ram was shown by J.W. Simms-Reisner.
The Grand Champion Ewe was shown by JW Simms-Reisner. Aly Williams showed the Reserve Grand Champion Ewe. JW Simms-Reisner received the banner donated by Three Rivers Veterinary Clinic.
In the Market Class, Zeb Ankenbrand showed the Grand Champion Market Lamb. The banner was donated by Farm Credit Services Illinois. The Reserve Grand Champion Market Lamb was shown by Zeb Ankenbrand.
In the Showmanship Classes, the Senior division winner was Gabe Wyatt who received a belt buckle donated by Edwards County Farm Bureau Women’s Committee. Sydney Williams won the Junior Showmanship belt buckle donated by Farm Credit Illinois. The Wesley and Kelly Fryman Novice Showmanship belt buckle went to Jesse Spray.
