The Board of Trustees for the Illinois Eastern Community College District convened on Tuesday evening at Olney Central College.
During the meeting, the Board approved a partnership with Northern Illinois University to host OSHA training at IECC.
They also authorized Dr. Gower to move forward with an amendment to the Trust Agreement with the State of Illinois for the construction of the Applied Technology Center at Olney Central College, allowing the Capital Development Board project to proceed.
The Board accepted the IECC Program Review Report for FY24, which will be submitted to the Illinois Community College Board.
Several changes in employment status were approved:
Julie Dehart will transition from Health Science Specialist at Frontier Community College to Medical Lab Technical Instructor at FCC, effective October 1st.
Danyelle Ayres will move from Part-time Adult Education Adjunct Instructor to Coordinator of ICAPS & Instruction, effective August 26th.
Taryn Bunting, Trina Dunkel, and Justn Young will change from Financial Aid Coordinator to Financial Aid Specialist, effective September 2, 2024.
Stephanie Corley, Brittany Longbons, and Sara Newkirk will shift from Student Services Specialist to Financial Aid Representative, effective September 2nd.
Annie Matthews will transition from Administrative Assistant to Dean of Instruction at OCC to TRIO Student Support Services Academic Advisor at OCC, effective August 26th.
The Board also reviewed and accepted previously approved pay increases for Full-time Non-Bargaining Unit Employees for the Fiscal Year 2024-2025.
