Shelley Renee Bare passed away unexpectedly at her home in Mt. Carmel, Illinois on Monday, August 26, 2024.
Shelley was born January 13, 1968 in Richland County, Illinois to the late Shirley (Bare) Newman. Shelley attended Parkview Christian Church in Mt. Carmel, Illinois with her special friend LouAnn Scott. She found joy in the simple things in life, always had a smile on her face, was a good listener, and rarely ever spoke an unkind word about anyone. She truly loved her tacos, a nice shopping trip and having lunch out. She cherished visits with family and friends, especially when they were all together at the Bare family chowders.
She is survived by her aunts Becky Miller of Albion, Illinois and Ginger Stone of Robinson, Illinois; uncles Rick (Debbie) Bare of Florida, Jerry (Dana) Bare of Mill Shoals, Illinois, Lony (Kim McGarvy) Bare of Browns, Illinois, Tracy (Valerie) Bare of Mt. Carmel, Illinois, Shane (Chris) Bare, and Greg Bare of Albion, Illinois, and Gary Bare of Indiana. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Preceding Shelley in death was her mother Shirley; grandparents George and Ruth Bare; as well as several other family members.
A private Celebration of Life Ceremony with family and close friends will be held in the near future.
