FAIRFIELD JR MULES FOOTBALL UPDATE:
There’s been a schedule change for Fairfield Jr. Mules Football this Saturday. Due to track construction at Christopher, Jr. Mules will be at HOME and also note game time changes with Christopher. There will be a short 5th/6th scrimmage for players who may not play often as the 3rd/4th game will start at 2 PM; 5th/6th game at 4 PM. The 7th/8th game will remain the same start time at 7 PM.

MAJOR LEAGUE BASEBALL:
The St. Louis Cardinals begin a series against the Seattle Mariners at Busch Stadium tonight. The Cardinals just took two of three from Milwaukee earlier this week. St. Louis is five games back of Atlanta and New York for the final NL Wild Card spot with a 71-and-69 record. Erick Fedde starts for the Cardinals tonight. First pitch is at 7:15PM.

The Chicago Cubs host the New York Yankees at Wrigley Field this afternoon. The Cubs are coming off a series loss against the Pittsburgh Pirates earlier this week. Chicago is four games back of the Mets and the Braves for the final NL Wild Card spot at 72-and-68. Jordan Wicks starts for the Northsiders today. First pitch is at 1:20PM.

The Chicago White Sox look to get a winning streak going when they visit the Boston Red Sox at Fenway Park tonight. The Sox just lost a series to the Baltimore Orioles earlier in the week. Chicago is in last place in the AL Central at 32-and-109 and remains on pace to finish with the worst record in the history of the modern MLB. Davis Martin starts for the Southsiders tonight. First pitch is at 6:10PM.
