Illinois State Police arrested a Fairfield man Saturday night on drug & weapons charges. State Police say 45-year-old Branch Caldwell was arrested for Possession of Methamphetamine, Unlawful Possession of Firearms and Firearms Ammunition, Unlawful Possession of a Weapon by Felon and Use of Property for Meth Offenses. Caldwell was transported and booked into the Wayne County Jail.
24-year-old Mitchell Bruce Leas of Keenes was arrested last (Monday) night for Possession of Methamphetamine and Use of Property for Meth Offenses. Leas was taken to the Wayne County Jail and lodged on the drug charges.
