FAIRFIELD PARK DISTRICT MEETING HIGHLIGHTS FROM LAST THURSDAY

The Fairfield Park District met for their monthly meeting last Thursday (October  10th)  with a very light agenda.  Park officials say that workers will begin putting up the Christmas light displays soon once the mowing work subsides.  Work has begun on a memorial shelter at Bob Woods Park in memory of Harry Morlan.   A new light pole has been delivered to Veterans Field and will be installed soon and the purchase of pool chemicals for next season was approved in the amount of $16,108.65.
