NEW HOPE GRADE SCHOOL BOARD MEETING HIGHLIGHTS FROM TUESDAY

The New Hope Grade School Board of Education meeting was held Tuesday night and under the Superintendent’s Report, Britany Pope honored the Lady Panthers Softball Team as they won the 2024 Class S State Championship with a perfect 23-0 record,  Under New Business, New Hope received a Financial Profile Score of 4.0 on their audit which is the highest score.  Larry Stubbs was approved for full-time employment as a Technology Coordinator, motion was approved for the cash stipend benefit for all 12-month employees.  Ryan Estheimer was hired as a Custodian, the board accepted the resignation of Carol Barnard as Secretary/School Nurse.  Her last day will be October 31st. and the board approved the hiring of Kayla Hough as the new Secretary for the school.
