Jerry Cox presented the Clemence Elizabeth Cox scholarship to five students currently enrolled in the nursing program at Frontier Community College and they include; Curtlyn Hayes, Tiffany Hughes, Dakota Stecyk, Rebecca Young.

Jerry established the scholarship in 2009 in memory of his late mother at Frontier Community College as a way to give back to the community. His generosity has financially assisted 94 students during their time in the nursing program. He continues to partner with Adella Williams, a lifelong friend who shares his passion for the nursing program and helping others in the community. Her contribution allowed for an additional scholarship to be awarded to a student interested in local employment at Fairfield Memorial Hospital. Jerry remains dedicated to working closely with Rachel Ewing, the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) at FMH, to offer additional opportunities to students seeking active employment through the hospital.
