Our Lord was an important part of Darlyne’s life and she was a faithful member of the Lutheran Church.
Darlyne and Bill enjoyed traveling. Darlyne had a passion for reading, playing bridge and pinochle. She bowled on a women’s league, boated at Rend Lake and did love to shop! A source of real happiness was the idyllic life with the McLeansboro neighbors Darlyne treasured always.
Defined as strong, Darlyne was a three-time cancer survivor. If asked how she was feeling, an “I’m fine” reply could always be counted on.

In lieu of flowers please give a memorial in Darlyne’s memory to Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital, St. Louis, Missouri or Creutzfeldt-Jakob Disease Foundation. Memorials will be accepted at Harre Funeral Home which is in charge of arrangements.
