Ronald Eugene Guthrie, 47, of Carmi, passed away on Thursday, November 14, 2024. He was born on August 19, 1977, in Carmi, Illinois, the son of Ronald Gene and Patricia Ann (Stacy) Guthrie. Ronald proudly served his country in the United States Army National Guard. He worked as a heavy equipment operator for Oak Hill Construction in Ewing, Illinois. Ronald enjoyed fishing, camping and going to the river. Most of all, he loved his family.
Ronald is survived by his parents, Ronald and Patricia Guthrie of Carmi, IL; his fiance, Angela Dillinger; his children, Kyla, Taylor, Hannah and Ally Guthrie and Lily and Matthew Guthrie and their mother Jennifer; a sister, Penny (Matt) Kline; and a niece, Gracie Cox
A memorial service will be held for Ronald Eugene Guthrie at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 21, 2024, at Campbell Funeral Home in Carmi. Family and friends may visit from 12:00 p.m. until time of service on Thursday, November 21, 2024, at Campbell Funeral Home in Carmi. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Campbell Funeral Home in Carmi to assist the family with expenses. Donations may also be mailed to 609 W. Main St. Carmi, IL. 62821.
