FORMER FAIRFIELD RESIDENT BECOMES NEW ATTORNEY

A former Fairfield resident has joined the ranks of Illinois attorneys. Corbin Kakac, son of Kevin and Sharmila Kakac of Fairfield, was sworn in on November 6th during Bar Admission Ceremonies held in Chicago. Corbin was among 1,604 individuals who passed the July 2024 Bar Exam. The ceremony was presided over by Illinois Supreme Court Chief Justice Mary Jane Theis, along with Justices P. Scott Neville, Jr. and Joy V. Cunningham.

 

Corbin graduated with honors from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, earning degrees in history and political science. He went on to graduate from Washington University School of Law in St. Louis in May 2024.

 

Currently, Corbin is employed with the Illinois Attorney General’s Office, serving in the Special Litigation Bureau in Chicago.
