Cisne High School announced the candidates for the 2024 King and Queen last Friday, in anticipation of the coronation and dance scheduled for this Saturday at 7:30 p.m. in the Cisne High School Gym.
This year’s queen candidates are Hadley Walker, daughter of Jim and Cindy Walker of Cisne; Misty Hearle, daughter of Brad and Monaliza Hearle from Johnsonville; and Ella Krupp, daughter of Adam and Alesha Krupp of Cisne. The king candidates include Joshua Biggs, son of Jared Biggs of Martinsville and Kelly Biggs of Mount Erie; Cooper Bowen, son of Kevin and Beth Bowen of Cisne; and Ashton Stine, son of Bill and Jill Stine of Cisne. The retiring 2023 King is Spencer Brach, son of Michael and Jamie Brach of Cisne, and the retiring Queen is Kori Kessel, daughter of Shawn and Heather Kessel of Cisne.
The theme for this year’s event is “Tangled in Memories.” The homecoming dance will take place from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. and will feature “Memories” by Maroon 5 as its musical theme.
The honor line for 2024 was also announced, featuring members from each class:
