The Illinois Fighting Illini go for their first Big Ten win of the season when they host number-22 Wisconsin at State Farm Center tonight. The Illini dropped out of the top-25 after falling to Northwestern in overtime 70-66 last Friday. Illinois is 6-an-2 overall and 0-and-1 in conference play this season. Tonight’s game tips off at 8:00pm and can be heard on WFIW-AM 1390 and FM 103.3 with pregame activities at 7pm.

BASEBALL NEWS:
The St. Louis Cardinals are shopping around one of their top players. President of baseball operations John Mozeliak told reporters at the Winter Meetings yesterday that he is trying to trade third baseman Nolan Arenado. The Cardinals traded for Arenado from Colorado before the 2021 season. He made the NL All-Star team in each of his first three seasons with the club, but he hit just .272 with 16 home runs and 71 RBI with St. Louis in 2024.
