MAN WANTED FOR YEARS IN SOUTHERN ILLINOIS APPREHENDED IN CHICAGO

Harold Artice Ivy, a man sought by authorities for several years in southern Illinois, has been apprehended in Cook County after stepping off an Amtrak train. The White County Sheriff’s Office reported that U.S. Marshals informed them of Ivy’s arrest.

 

Ivy was wanted on a Failure to Appear warrant related to charges of Aggravated Criminal Sexual Assault and Resisting a Peace Officer in White County. Additionally, he faced charges from Clinton County, Cook County, Edwards County in Illinois, and Knox County, Indiana.

 

White County Sheriff Jordan Weiss stated that this arrest concludes an ongoing manhunt that has persisted for several years. Ivy is now being held in the Cook County Jail.
