Norma Lee Hart, age 89, passed away at 10:56 a.m., Monday, December 23, 2024 at SSM Good Samaritan Hospital in Mt. Vernon, IL. Arrangements are under the direction of Harre Funeral Home, Dahlgren, IL. Visitation is 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Saturday, December 28 and the Funeral Service is 1:00 p.m.at Harre Funeral Home, Dahlgren, IL with Pastor Brad Sloan and Pastor John Ashby officiating. Burial will proceed immediately after the Funeral Celebration at Crisel Cemetery near Dahlgren.
Norma was born June 21, 1935 in Thackeray, IL to Walter Ledford and Freda Tittle. She was married to Evan L. Hart April 4, 1954 in Corinth, Mississippi. He passed away November 12, 2013. She attended Dahlgren Baptist Church. She sewed, cooked, babysat for her children and others—loved crafting and working for her church.
Survivors include Son Terry Hart, wife Sheila, Mt. Vernon, IL; Barry C. Hart, McLeansboro, IL and Jeffrey W. Hart and wife Kimberly, Mt. Vernon, IL; Sister Nettie Bayler and husband Harold, Thackeray, IL; Brother-in-Law Harold Stinson, Carmi, IL; Sisters-in-Law, Jo Ann Hart, Blue Island, IL and Flo Ann Hart, McLeansboro, IL; Grandchildren Travis Hart, Wade Hart, Jonathon Hart, Brandon Hart, Alex Hart, Brandon W. Hart; Greatgrandchildren, Tyler Hart, Corryn Hart, Evan Hart, Braxton Hart, Cole Hart and Viktor Hart.
