The Department of Central Management Services has announced that, following Governor JB Pritzker’s directive, all individuals and entities covered by the Illinois Flag Display Act are to fly flags at half-staff in honor of former President Jimmy Carter, who passed away on December 29th at the age of 100.
This order applies to all United States flags and State flags at buildings, which should be lowered to half-staff until sunset on Wednesday, January 29th.
