A nationwide recall has been issued for certain dog foods sold along the east coast. This weekend, Blue Ridge Beef announced the recall of over 5,000 pounds of their Natural Mix food due to potential salmonella contamination.
Pets that contract salmonella may exhibit symptoms such as lethargy, diarrhea, fever, and vomiting. The affected products were distributed in eight different states along the east coast between January 3rd and January 25th of this year. Pet owners are advised to check their supplies and discontinue use of the recalled products to ensure the safety and health of their pets.
