WAYNE COUNTY SPELLING BEE TONIGHT, WFIW-FM 104.9 WILL BROADCAST AND LIVE VIDEO STREAM THE EVENT

The Wayne County Spelling Bee is set for tonight at Fairfield City Hall.  WFIW-FM 104.9 will broadcast and live video stream the spelling bee on our website, wfiwradio.com  sponsored by Wayne-White Electric Cooperative with the event set to start at 6pm. Judges for the spelling bee are: Lori Robson, Julie Harrelson, Kathy Book and  Moderator: Jeff Vaughan.  The contestants and from which county school district are listed below:

Wayne City:

1st Place: Alex Barbre, 6th Grade, Parents: Heather and Jonathan Barbre

Runner Up: Tylen Burnett, 7th Grade, Parents: Berry and Shelly Shreve

 

New Hope: 1st Place: Jude Webb, 7th Grade; Parents: Lucas & Lauren Webb

Runner Up: Kylie Green, 7th Grade; Parents: Ryan Green; Kendall Green

 

Jasper:

1st Place: Kallen King; 7th Grade; Parents: John & Tara King

Runner Up: Deacon Wimer, 8th Grade; Parents: Mark & Rosanna Wimer

 

 

Center Street:

1st Place: Nathan Stephens, 5th Grade; Parent; Elizabeth Williamson

Runner Up: Mylee McConnaghhay, 8th Grade; Parents; Alissa McConnaughhay & Michael McConnaughhay

 

Cisne Middle School:

1st Place: Myla Hearle, 7th grade; Parents; Brad and Mona Hearle.

Runner Up:Isabelle Edmison, 6th grade; Parents:Chad and Isabelle Edmison.

 

Geff:

1st Place: Kylee Robson, 7th grade, Parent: Haley Robson

Runner Up: Kaysen Foley, 6th grade, Parents: Kasha and Kennett Foley
