NEW RESTAURANT IN WEST SALEM, THE LUMBERYARD IS NOW OPEN

According to a Facebook post, a new homestyle restaurant in West Salem, The Lumberyard is now open at 101 East North St.  The restaurant, owned by Deryke & Maggie Kirkpatrick is in the former Southern Lumber building and has been completely remodeled by the Kirkpatricks’ who both attended culinary school at Rend Lake College and whose dream was to open a restaurant.  The Lumberyard’s hours of operation will be 6am to 1:30pm on Mondays and 6am to 8pm Tuesday thru Friday.  The restaurant will serve a daily special and they plan to have “Fish Frydays” every other week in the future.  You can follow their Facebook page, The Lumberyard for further and updated information.
