WAYNE COUNTY CIRCUIT COURT NEWS

Numerous individuals appeared in Wayne County Circuit Court on various charges.

 

Granite City resident, 42-year-old Charmeka Fulton pled guilty to Obstructing Justice, a class 4 felony.  Fulton was sentenced to two years probation and ordered to pay court costs.

 

58-year-old Wayne L. Davis of Mt. Carmel admitted in court that he violated a previous order of probation on an original charge of Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine.  Davis was sentenced to a term of two years probation plus court costs.

 

Mitchell Leas, 25 of Keenes pled guilty to Burglary, a class 2 felony.  Leas was sentenced to two years probation and per the plea agreement, three other cases were dismissed.

 

44-year-old Brandi Pierce of Broughton admitted in court to violating a previous order of probation on a charge of Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine.  Pierce was sentenced to conditional discharge for a term of two years and ordered to pay court costs.

 

Margaret Van Matre, a 46-year-old resident from Cisne pled guilty in two separate cases.  The first case was for DUI and Van Matre was placed on one year of court supervision.  The second case, Van Matre was sentenced to two years probation on a charge of Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine and also ordered to pay courts costs in both cases.

 

19-year-old Joseph Wilson of Fairfield pled guilty to Aggravated Assault, a class a misdemeanor and was placed on 18 months of probation plus court costs.

 

Sims resident, 57-year-old Christopher Hedden admitted in court that he violated a previous order of probation on a charge of Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine and was sentenced to one year of conditional discharge plus court costs.  Hedden was also sentenced to spend 60 days in the Wayne County Jail.

 

37-year-old Abby Koontz of Geff pled guilty to Unlawful Violation of an Order of Protection, a class a misdemeanor.  Koontz was sentenced two years of probation plus court costs and was given credit for seven days of time served in the Wayne County Jail.  As part of the plea agreement, five other cases were dismissed.

 

Jason Robinson, 50 of Mt. Vernon pled guilty to Battery and was sentenced to a term of one year court supervision and ordered to pay court costs.

 

51-year-old Christopher Bartley of Fairfield admitted in court that he violated a previous order of probation on a charge of Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine and was sentenced to two years of probation plus court costs.

 

Fairfield resident, 35-year-old Kylee Davis pled guilty to Criminal Damage to Property and was sentenced to 24 months probation and ordered to pay court costs.

 

33-year-old Pamela Powers of Fairfield pled guilty to Retail Theft and was sentenced to one year of probation plus court costs.

 

Steven Miller, 23 of Fairfield pled guilty to Battery and was placed on one year of court supervision plus court costs.

 

Lawrence Hart, 35 of Fairfield pled guilty to Battery and was placed on one year of conditional discharge plus court costs.

 

51-year-old Fairfield resident, Timothy Fetherling pled guilty to DUI and was placed on one year of reporting court supervision and ordered to pay court costs.

 

Cisne resident, 68-year-old David Richardson pled guilty to Aggravated Battery and was sentenced to two years of probation plus agreed to not leave the State of Illinois without consent of the court.  Per the plea agreement, two counts in the case were dismissed.

 

37-year-old David Young of Keenes pled guilty and was sentenced to one year of probation on a charge of Aggravated Battery.  Young was also sentenced to 180 days in the Wayne County Jail and per the sentencing agreement, two counts in the case were dismissed.
