BASEBALL NEWS
The Chicago Cubs are bringing on a two-time All-Star. The Northsiders inked Justin Turner to a one-year, six-million dollar deal yesterday. The contract includes an additional two-and-a-half million dollars in incentives. Turner was an All-Star with the Dodgers in 2017 and 2021. He hit .259 with 11 home runs and 55 RBI in 139 games between Toronto and Seattle last season.
