SINGLE VEHICLE ACCIDENT SENDS WAYNE CITY WOMAN TO HOSPITAL

Wayne County Sheriff’s Deputies and first responders were called to the scene of a single vehicle accident on US Hwy 15 and County Hwy 10 in Big Mound Township Thursday morning around 11 O’clock.  Deputies say a 2011 Kia Sorento driven by 25-year-old Jordan Wheat of Wayne City was traveling eastbound on Hwy 15 when she fainted.  The Wheat vehicle ran off the left side of the roadway, went through a ditch, then came to rest after striking a tree.  Wheat was transported by Wayne County Ambulance personnel to Fairfield Memorial Hospital for treatment of injuries.
