Fairfield Mules Boys Track Team will be participating at the SIU Indoor Meet today and tomorrow in Carbondale, 3pm today and 9:45am Saturday.
The Black Diamond Conference released the 2024-2025 All-Conference team on Tuesday and two members of the Fairfield Lady Mules and three Edwards County Lady Lions were named to the team.
From Fairfield, Myra Copeland and Mabrey Foster and from Edwards County… Lola Nussmeyer, Grace Bishop and Alice Robb were selected as both Nussmeyer and Bishop were named as Co-Captains.

GIRLS HIGH SCHOOL BASKETBALL STATE TOURNAMENT SCORES THURSDAY
In the 2A State Semi-Finals, the Nashville Hornettes beat Chicago Phillips, 60-32 on Thursday afternoon at CEFCU (Redbird) Arena in Bloomington. The Hornettes will return to the Class 2A State Championship Game on Saturday afternoon against Peoria Notre Dame in a rematch of last year’s Title Game, which was won by Notre Dame.
Peoria Notre Dame won their Semi-Final game Thursday over Mt Carmel 61-35. The Lady Aces will face Chicago Phillips in the Third Place Game tonight at 6:00pm.
