The Wayne County Historical Society will be hosting an event this Thursday at the Fairfield Public Library. Max D. Green will be sharing the story of his father and uncles during the Great Depression. It is a story about connections, family, and the power of faith. The four brothers overcame tremendous odds to make their way in Southern Illinois and Wayne County. Max will share some family pictures and memories as well as some original music.
The public is invited to come and learn about the power of family and fate. The event begins at 6pm.
