Marian Works, 95 of Fort Worth, TX and Formerly of Grayville

Marian Works, 95 of Fort Worth, TX and Formerly of Grayville, passed away on March 8, 2025.

Marian was born and raised in Grayville Illinois. She lived in various places throughout her life including Miami, Florida, Arlington, Virginia, Italy, and Fort Worth, Texas. She graduated from Albion High School in 1947. After graduation she attended Deaconess Nursing School in Evansville Indiana where she became a registered nurse. She was also a stewardess for Eastern Airlines. While married to Forrest Works (1952-1975), she was a full-time mother and wife. After her divorce, she utilized her nursing skills in various places including American Airlines Flight Academy, and the Federal Bureau of Engraving in Fort Worth.

She loved gardening in her free time and attended Christ Chapel Bible Church in Fort Worth, Texas.

Marian was preceded in death by her parents, Elba Schuh and Ardita Mason; and her grandson, Jeremey Corser.

She is survived by daughters, Patricia A. Henderson, and Susan E. Moak; granddaughters, Kristen Donham and Lindsey Corser; great-granddaughters Natalie Donham and Hallie Donham; and brother, Walter Schuh.

Graveside Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, March 25, 2025, at Oak Grove Cemetery, in Grayville with Pastor Dave Cochran Officiating. Roberts and Cook Funeral Service in Grayville and Greenwood Funeral Homes in Fort Worth, TX have been entrusted with the arrangements
