Billy Wayne Reese Sr., 69, of Grayville, passed away on Thursday, March 20, 2025, at home. He was born on Monday, June 27, 1955, in Grayville a son of Gerald and Judith Geraldine (Bunting) Reese. On June 29, 1975, he married Tammy Lynn Jones in Grayville and together they have shared over 49 years of marriage.
Billy was retired having worked in manufacturing throughout his career. He was an avid sports fan and enjoyed watching and supporting the St. Louis Cardinals and the Kansas City Chiefs. Billy was a loving husband, father and grandfather, who enjoyed spending time with his family.
In addition to his wife, Tammy Reese of Grayville, Billy is survived by his son and daughter -in- law Billy Wayne Jr. and Julie Reese; grandchildren, Wyatt Reese, Autumn Crouch and Cicely Reese; great-grandchildren, Nolan, Weston and Leighton; brothers, Denny Reese, Tommy (Maxine) Reese; nephew, Eddie Linder and several other nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sisters Joan Treadway and Betty Linder.
Graveside services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, March 24, 2025, at Oak Grove Cemetery in Grayville with Kent McTaggart officiating. Roberts and Cook Funeral Service has been entrusted with the arrangements
