By Mark Wells Mar 26, 2025 | 11:54 AM

A popular laundry detergent is being recalled due to concerns about bacterial contamination. Reckitt, the manufacturer, has announced a voluntary recall of Woolite Delicates Detergent, which is sold exclusively on Amazon.

The Consumer Product Safety Commission has indicated that the recall affects more than 1,600 units of 50-fluid ounce bottles. Customers who have purchased these products will be eligible for a refund. The recalled detergent may contain Pseudomonas oleovorans,  a bacteria that can lead to serious infections in individuals with compromised immune systems.

If you own this product, please check for the recall and take the appropriate steps to obtain your refund.
