FREEZE WARNING IN EFFECT UNTIL 9AM FOR SOUTHERN ILLINOIS

A FREEZE WARNING issued by The National Weather Service remains in effect until 9am this (Tuesday) morning for all of Southern Illinois.  Sub-freezing temperatures as low as 25 to 30 degrees expected over most of the region. Frost and freeze conditions could kill crops, other sensitive vegetation and possibly damage unprotected outdoor plumbing.  The FLOOD WARNING continues for the Little Wabash River affecting Wayne County, Carmi and Gallatin County.  Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive cars through flooded areas.
